I started trying my hand at digital painting in 2006 after seeing some of the beautiful paintings created by a group of very talented people on the PhotoImpact Board.  My first painting was a night scene with the moon shining down on the water, and from then on I was hooked.

Since that first painting, I have aquired quite a collection and have even taken a couple of classes on painting in PhotoImpact.  These classes were Creative Painting Paint Tool Proficiency class and Advanced Creative Painting, both which are available through the Visual Arts Academy.  It offers many types of classes covering many subjects, including classes in HTML, PhotoShop, and quite a few others.
